Situated outside Aalborg this historic manor house built in 1723 is surrounded by lush green forest and parkland in an area that has been inhabited since the Stone Age. At Store Restrup Manor House the elegant and charming halls are excellent examples of the Baroque style; predominant during the 17th century. The Tapestry Room is beautifully decorated with French tapestry from 1815. The Theatre Hall can hold up to 300 seated guests. The à la carte restaurant at Store Restrup Manor House, serves traditional cuisine, made with seasonal and fresh ingredients. Superb lunch is served according to a prior arrangement. Each Saturday, wine tastings are held in the magnificent wine cellar, where guests can taste selected wines from both the hotel's own production and from import sources.
